Sail Support Service | coachboat.com was founded in 2006 by Arthur Thueringer, an ex 470 dinghy sailor and sail coach with the target to make the life of coaches and sailing federations easier by providing professional coachboat services to them.
While in the first years the supply of high quality VSR Ribs for oversea nations in Europe was the main field of activity, from 2009 on the service was expanded already in the Middle East during European winter season. As a winner of the Sail the Gulf Trophy in Doha 2001 for Arthur the Middle East was and will always be one of the best watersport regions in the world.
With services expanding to car rental, equipment supply, logistic support, etc. and a growing fleet of even better ribs year by year in autum 2015 we have decided to give five VSR 5.4 ribs inc. Yamaha F60 engines a new home in the GCC region on a permanent basis. This will allow us to support all kind of regattas and activities in the GCC region at affordable rates and with short transit times of our fleet.
